New Executive Appointment
MetLife has named Nick Nadgauda as its new Executive Vice President and Global Chief Information Officer (CIO), starting March 10, 2025.
Nadgauda brings with him an impressive background, having spent two decades at Citi, where he served as the Chief Information Officer for Citi Services.
In addition to his time at Citi, he co-founded Invertica, a web-services software company, taking on the role of Chief Technology Officer.
Responsibilities and Leadership
In his new position at MetLife, Nadgauda will oversee a range of technology functions, including application development, infrastructure management, and architecture teams, all integral to the company’s operations.
He will report directly to Bill Pappas, who leads Global Technology and Operations as an Executive Vice President.
Expressing his excitement about Nadgauda’s appointment, Pappas highlighted the new CIO’s impressive track record in driving innovation and leading digital transformation initiatives.
He believes that Nadgauda’s vast experience will play a crucial role in propelling MetLife’s technological advancements and enhancing customer experiences, which is vital for the company’s competitive positioning in the marketplace.
Center for Technology Workforce Innovation
In addition to his responsibilities in managing the technology portfolio, Nadgauda will also take charge of the Center for Technology Workforce Innovation.
This initiative, developed with NC TECH, aims to offer essential resources and insights for both employers and employees in the technology sector throughout the state.
Through this collaboration, MetLife seeks to make a positive impact in the tech community while advancing its own innovative pursuits.
