Hamlin is no stranger to this field, having served as senior vice president for institutional accounts at Berkshire Hathaway Specialty Insurance.

His robust career in healthcare professional liability, which spans over thirty years, began at AIG in Atlanta.

He later transitioned to Zurich North America, where he oversaw the company’s large hospital and medical facility segments.

Amwins Strengthens Healthcare Team

Amwins, headquartered in Charlotte, North Carolina, has also made a notable addition to its team by appointing R.P. Hallenbeck as the leader of its healthcare practice.

With a wealth of experience that spans 28 years in the healthcare insurance arena, Hallenbeck has engaged on both the carrier and retail fronts.

Before this role, he spearheaded national business development initiatives for MedPro Specialty.

In his new capacity at Amwins, Hallenbeck will oversee collaborative efforts and strategies across different divisions, further enhancing the company’s service offerings.
